Tillett P1 Ribprotector Zwart-Chroom

This latest version of the hugely popular Tillett P1 kart rib protector features a revised back panel and elasticated shoulder straps which help prevent the rib protector raising up. The new tough outer layer is vinly wrapped in striking colours with the Tillett logo. These new features offer the wearer improved comfort, fit and safety. Designed with input from some of the top drivers in karting to ensure the P1 delivers the very best in protection and comfort.

The Tillett P1 kart rib protector works by effectively transferring load points, in a crash, from the lower floating ribs to the stronger upper ribs. This minimilises the risk of rib injuries. The P1 uses a special foam which allows the protector to be thinner so as not to disrupt seat sizing and the smooth suede outer has been designed to prevent wear to race suits. A re-designed velcro strap includes elasticated sections to enable unrestricted breathing whilst retaining the correct tightness of fit.
